Pascal Rousson & Gene Closuit

London-based artist Pascal Rousson and graphic designer Gene Closuit have teamed up to produce a range of prints and original small and large paintings. The idea for this collaboration began with the event of Brexit and their most recent works were produced during the Covid lockdowns.

  

IT'S A DISASTER refers directly to recent political and social changes. The work endeavours to grasp these fundamental shifts through sarcastic jokes and popular culture but also by using some of the Situationist ideas and imagery to capture the uncertainty, madness and mood of our time.
