Collection: Chelsea Vivash

Chelsea is an East London based artist and maker.

With a background in Fine Art, she later returned to study furniture design and making. Since then her practice has developed from an appreciation for the shape, colour and texture of every day objects, with an emphasis on craft and the handmade. Her most recent work combines her making skills with her love of drawing, she sees marquetry as a way of drawing down or painting her ideas in wood.

These handmade marquetry pieces are inspired by her own drawn studies as well as the research that feed into both her art and design practice.
